Being a leader in an organization can be a challenge. Transformational leadership can be especially challenging due to its tendency to break from old ways of doing things. Being a transformational leader in international organizations can be even more difficult than usual, with diverse stakeholders who may have very different cultural backgrounds. When deciding what old molds to break, a leader must consider the potential for cultural offense that may come with breaking from tradition. Leaders must also be aware of how these cultural factors will interact with each other in a diverse organization.

For this Blog Entry, review the assigned course text chapters for this week. Also, read the Center for Creative Leadership report by Gentry et al. from this week’s resources. Consider the key stakeholders for your selected organization for the Final Project. Also, consider the funders for your selected organization. Finally, consider the challenges the leaders of your selected organization face.

Post by Day 4 a Blog Entry from the perspective of the leader of the organization you selected for your Final Project describing your three main transformational leadership challenges. Explain why these challenges are important and how they affect the organization. Your target audience for this Blog Entry is leaders in organizations similar to yours. Your Blog Entry should appraise these challenges and explain them to your peers.
