Differences between listening and feedback Purpose: The goal of this course is to familiarize you with fundamental concepts and theories of organizational communication and to enable you to apply those concepts and theories to practice. This paper is an application papers; it is focused on a specific concept covered and asks you to present both theoretical outlines and examples of the concept from your workplace. This paper should be divided into two sections, using headings: Section 1 should discuss the topic from a purely theoretical view point. Discuss the concepts offered in the text; provide differing theoretical viewpoints (citing their authors) and alternative models. Explore the idea fully. Section 2 should discuss your personal experiences in the workplace with this topic. Give examples of how the theory is right and how it may be wrong or incomplete. Use the vocabulary of the course and be specific in your examples. Be sure to cite your sources in the text and at the end of the paper. The Presentation: A primary function in organizational communication is the effective presentation of information. To that end, we will routinely present the content of our papers to one another. This process will deepen your own learning of the material, practice an essential skill of the successful practitioner of the organizational communication and share your learnings with your classmates.
