1) Your paper should explain what the topic is about, why it is interesting/important/relevant in general and what specific points make it especially interesting/important/relevant from your point of view. It is best if it also provides examples or cases and explain in greater details the most important points you want your readers to understand and to know about your topic. 2) I will judge your work by how well you are able to convey and explain the main ideas both orally and in writing. You should think: how would I explain what this paper is about to someone with little knowledge about the topics but who has some knowledge in Economics. 3) Your paper should be divided in well-defined/clearly identified sections (Introduction, one or several main sections, Conclusion). Dividing a paper by sections forces you to think about the organization of your paper, as well as about the logic of the arguments. 4) Please be extremely attentive to avoid plagiarism, a very severe case of academic dishonesty. Please be familiar with the relevant policy regarding Academic Dishonesty as a zero tolerance will be enforced. 5) Can include footnotes or endnotes and include references, tables and/or figures
