My question for this assignment is “how does income affect the graduation rate of first generation college students?”. My independent variable is income and my dependent variable is the graduation rate. This topic is important to me because I want to bring light to an issue that goes unnoticed. There are people who have dropped out of college due to not being able to afford their education. From my perspective, this is unfortunate and unfair to students who feel passionate about going to college, obtaining a degree, and then utilizing it.
