In this forum, let’s think about Miami University. As with all organizations, key performance indicators (KPI’s) can be used to help gauge the success of an organization. While this will be a limited analysis of the university, let’s discuss some KPI’s that could be used to measure success.
Keep in mind that KPI’s don’t always have to involve financials or money. Think about classroom utilization, the success of graduates, and other items that may reflect and/or support the goals of the university. Complete the following:
List at least three KPI’s for the university and why you think they are beneficial.
Review what others have posted. Adapt two of the other posted KPI’s so they fit your client’s organization. Reply to those students from whom you borrowed, list the KPI you borrowed and modified for your client, and explain why it could be beneficial to other organizations.
1. From the readings as well as outside resources, create a list of advantages and disadvantages to using KPI’s. Be sure to explain the advantages and disadvantages. Cite all of your references.
2. From the readings and videos, identify at least 5 key performance indicators (KPIâ€™s) that could help your client. Explain how each one will be helpful.
3. Think more specifically about your client’s marketing strategy. Think of three additional KPI’s (non-financial) not mentioned in the module that would be beneficial to you in helping your client measure performance on marketing and/or sales campaigns. Describe why these KPI’s could be helpful.
4. How can KPI’s be applied to the Design Thinking process?
