Outline needs to be in Times New Roman and 12 point font. Your name needs to be included at the top of the page.

Objective: Inform, educate, describe, define or enlighten the audience about the history of a specific place, object, event, person, issue, or concept.

Time: 4-6 minutes

Delivery: Extemporaneous speaking.

Outline: Typed outline and Works Cited page due instructor before your speech. See assignment schedule for due date for the outline and delivery of the speech.

Visual Aid: Three or more audiovisual aids.

Research: Minimum of 3 research sources required. Cite all sources verbally in speech. Separate Works Cited page in MLA style due with outline to the instructor.

Points: 100. Students may not deliver a speech without an outline.
